How about something fun. Surely this month we can do something fun? This is, afterall the month we have not put on a fireworks show for many years.
What about inviting Deborah Harry to come. This is National Blondie and Deborah Harry month. This author will bet she thinks it's a hoot and come if she can. We can combine that with grilling month, hot dog month, ice cream month, and horseradish month (The latter should make Councilor Wallace happy ha ha) and the ever important National parks and recreation month.
If nothing else, there could be a small parade with a potluck at the community center for National Walk your Houseplant Day.

Actually Debbie Harry is coming to Isleta, although I was too slow to catch the date. Hey Coulrophobic....pull some strings and let's get her to visit our Senior center....and maybe even let people know of the event beforehand this time.
